Gallagher Aviation Shaw 431/531 Fluorosilicone Fuel Cap Kit

To properly overhaul a Shaw 431 or Shaw 531 fuel cap, we highly recommend the Marsh Brothers AeroTough GF polymer washer kit. The washer replaces the metal washer that these fuel caps are currently equipped with, which stops metal wear on the plunger handle. Metal wear on the plunger handle prevents the plunger from sitting flush after closing and can make it challenging to open and close the handle. The Marsh Brothers AeroTough GF washer immediately remedies these issues and provides a self lubricating property as the polymer permanently wears (will not wear out) into the metal handle to help seemlessly open and close the fuel cap.
