Description

At just 75 watts, this LED taxi light boasts an outstanding 8,250 lumens and a specially designed Fresnel lens to provide a broader 20° x 40° beam angle. This greatly improves visibility on the ground and recognition in the air from up to 30 miles away. All SunSpot Series LED aircraft lights consume less power, produce more lumens (total light output), and are not affected by vibrations compared to incandescent bulbs. These attributes make the SunSpot ideal for most aircraft. SunSpot outputs a wider beam at a color temperature that illuminates the true color of an object. This provides exceptional color rendering as opposed to “grayed” out images from the orange-red color temperature of an incandescent lamp. All SunSpot 36 Series lights utilize the aircrafts’ existing PAR36 mount and electrical connections for ease of installation.

(-H versions require an additional wire*) -H MODEL includes AeroLEDs’ signature Pulse (wig-wag) functionality. The Pulse controller is fully integrated into the light and requires no external circuitry. This feature significantly increases recognition in daylight as well as night operations, aiding in collision avoidance and reduced bird strikes. In dual or quad light installations, while operating in wig-wag mode, this self-contained pulse function reduces load on the aircraft electrical system by 50%.
